Free From Toothpastes
Whilst we have been busy comparing a lot toothpaste, we realised there was a high demand for products that maybe didn’t contain a certain ingredient such as fluoride or needed to be flavour free. Take a look at the different products we specifically selected based on a specific “free from” formulation.
SLS free products – sodium laurel sulphate
Many people don’t realise that SLS is quiet a harsh ingredient. It’s the foaming agent in toothpastes so when you choose an SLS free toothpaste it doesn’t foam up. This specific ingredient is also used in certain cleaning products such as detergents, which is why some people can’t use standard toothpastes containing this ingredient as it can cause mouth ulcers or irritation to the soft tissues.

The Humble Co
The whole of the Humble Co range prides itself on being all vegan/organic certified and contains no harmful chemicals. All of their products are SLS free from what we have sampled and researched further.

This toothpaste mentioned in our top rate is from “ The Green People” who pride themselves on being 100 % natural which is why there is no surprise that this toothpaste is SLS free.
Zendium
Zendium toothpaste as mentioned in our top-rated section is another where its whole range provides SLS free toothpastes.
Luvbiotics

Fluoride Free
A lot of people prefer to use fluoride free oral care products for many reasons, including the fact it’s not a naturally found ingredient and can cause adverse health effects if exposed to too much of it. Some products may use ingredients such as biosecur as an alternative to sodium fluoride within their products to give the anti-decay effect that sodium fluoride provides.
Aloe Dent
Triple action toothpaste with CoQ10.
This minty fresh toothpaste is all natural and free from fluoride, SLS and parabens. It cleans, protects teeth/gums naturally with CoQ10. (A substance naturally found in the body, but we produce less of it as we age)
The Green People Mint toothpaste
The Green People Mint toothpaste is both SLS and Fluoride free. It contains 87% certified organic ingredients and has excellent cleaning properties. Its good to note this toothpaste contains natural Betaine which is very effective against dry mouth syndrome.
The Humble Co Toothpaste Tablets
Free from Fluoride. It is eco-friendly with zero waste and suitable for vegans.
Additives/Flavours
It’s quite difficult to find a toothpaste that is free from both additives and flavours which some people may require for lots of reasons including specific health reasons. We are still looking for more to add to this list…
OraNurse
Oranurse is a specially engineered toothpaste which doesn’t have flavour or any foaming effect while providing the protection teeth need. This toothpaste is a great choice if the user suffers with mouth ulcers and need a PH balanced toothpaste to prevent any stinging or burning sensations, that can be associated with using a flavoured toothpaste. It is also free from foaming ingredients which makes it a good product for those who may have sensory issues such as autism or asperges. Oranurse toothpaste is also free from extra ingredients and additives which aren’t seen as necessary in toothpastes including SLS/flavoured oils.
