Toothbrushes

The key to effective oral care is not only the right toothpaste but also the right brush. Some people prefer a manual, some electric and other sonics.

A manual brush is great when used correctly, cheap to purchase and lets you control where you brush. However, you have to be mindful that if the bristles are too coarse and you brush too vigorously you can cause wear to your teeth and gums. Whilst on the other end if your toothbrush is too soft you may not be effectively cleaning them. Kind of like goldilocks and the three bears you have to find one that suits you best.

An electric brush is great for helping remove plaque by rotating or vibrating- It’s a case of popping the brush on to the tooth surface and letting it ocellate. The timers are also good as indicators of how long to brush your teeth for.

A sonic brush delivers a high brush speed when in use. The sonic brush head moves back, forth, up and down at levels of sometimes over 50 thousand brush strokes per minute allowing for a very thorough clean!
