Whitening Products
A lot of people look for other product options to whiten their teeth.
Whether it’s down to not being able to tolerate trays in their mouth that other products use as a requirement of the treatment or needing something that’s within their financial budget.
Below are some selected products that are also great for people who simply like to have additional whitening products to help maintain their white smile.

Whitening strips
Whitening strips are a great alternative to tray whitening and we have found these to be more suited for people who suffer from gag reflexes or cannot tolerate tray wear whitening. They are also good for those who are on a budget or looking at different ways to easily whitening on the go. Strips are not recommended for patients with crowded teeth. Some of the strips we have sampled are really pliable/adhesive so can be easily manipulated to fit around misaligned/crowded teeth that are deemed as minimal crowding or misalignment. Something to consider is people who have tried strips in the past have either tried gel-based ones that potentially don’t stick that well or they have gotten the strips wet and then realised they don’t stick as they should leaving them with a negative impression on strips. If you get the strips wet by either licking by accident when applying or saliva contact, they won’t adhere properly so just try to keep your application area dry upon application. Spotlight Whitening Strips
Spotlight teeth white strips are very much similar to that of the whitewash strips we sampled. Consists of a two-week course of 6% hydrogen peroxide. The instructions on how to apply were very clear and easy to follow. We would say they are of similar shade outcome as well around 4/ 4.2 shades in 2 weeks worn for 1 hour a day.
Whitening pens
Teeth whitening Pens are designed for on the go quick and easy use. It’s convenient as its size makes it easy for the user to carry it around with them. The formula is brushed on to the teeth daily to create a brightening highlighter effect. It’s good to understand that these are designed more for people who already have white teeth but want something that will give that instant shine effect on the go and the appearance of brighter teeth “An instant smile top-up”.
